BestSEOArticles connects to Ghost CMS and Webflow CMS via their native APIs — publishing fully optimized SEO articles with images, meta tags, and structured content directly to your site. No webhooks. No Zapier. No developer required.
Ghost is an open-source publishing platform used by over 3 million publishers worldwide (Ghost Foundation, 2025). BestSEOArticles connects to Ghost using the Ghost Admin API — the same API that powers the Ghost editor. The integration uses a Custom Integration API key, which you generate inside Ghost's admin panel in under 30 seconds.
BestSEOArticles publishes articles to Ghost with full Mobiledoc content format, featured images uploaded to Ghost's media storage, meta title, meta description, Open Graph tags, custom excerpt, tags, and URL slug. Ghost's built-in SEO features (canonical URLs, structured data, Twitter cards) are automatically populated by BestSEOArticles during publishing.
Ghost Pro (hosted) and self-hosted Ghost instances are both supported. BestSEOArticles requires Ghost version 4.0 or higher for full Admin API compatibility. The connection supports both published posts and draft posts — allowing you to review content before it goes live on your Ghost site.
Log into your Ghost admin panel. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Add Custom Integration. Name it "BestSEOArticles." Ghost generates a Content API Key and an Admin API Key. Copy the Admin API Key and your Ghost site URL — you will enter them in BestSEOArticles.
In your BestSEOArticles dashboard, go to Autopilot → Connections → Add New. Select "Ghost" as the platform. Enter your Ghost site URL (e.g., https://yourblog.ghost.io) and the Admin API Key. BestSEOArticles verifies the connection with a test API call.
Choose post status (Published or Draft), default tags, and publishing schedule. BestSEOArticles will generate and publish articles according to your schedule — each article includes full content, images, and SEO meta data formatted for Ghost's Mobiledoc specification.
Webflow powers over 500,000 websites (Webflow, 2025) with its visual web builder and headless CMS capabilities. BestSEOArticles connects to Webflow using the Webflow CMS API v2 — publishing SEO articles directly to your Webflow CMS Collections. Each article is formatted as a Collection Item with rich text content, image fields, and custom field mapping.
BestSEOArticles maps article components to your Webflow Collection fields: article body maps to the rich text field, featured image maps to the image field, meta title and description map to custom SEO fields, and categories/tags map to reference or multi-reference fields. BestSEOArticles reads your Collection schema during setup and auto-maps fields based on field types and names.
After publishing to Webflow CMS, BestSEOArticles triggers a site publish to make the new content live. Webflow staging and production domains are both supported. For teams that use Webflow's staging workflow, BestSEOArticles can publish to staging only — allowing designers or editors to review before promoting to production.
In your Webflow project settings, navigate to Integrations → Generate API Token. Select "CMS" scope with read and write permissions. Copy the generated token — this token allows BestSEOArticles to create and update Collection Items in your Webflow project.
In your BestSEOArticles dashboard, go to Autopilot → Connections → Add New. Select "Webflow" as the platform. Enter your Webflow API token. BestSEOArticles retrieves your Webflow sites and Collections automatically. Select the Collection you want articles published to (typically "Blog Posts" or "Articles").
BestSEOArticles auto-maps article components to your Collection fields based on field names and types. Review the mapping and adjust if needed. Set publishing schedule and post status (Published or Draft). BestSEOArticles will generate and publish articles according to your schedule.

For CMS platforms not natively supported by BestSEOArticles — such as Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Drupal, or Shopify — BestSEOArticles offers a custom webhook integration. Each time an article is generated, BestSEOArticles sends a POST request to your webhook URL containing the full article data: HTML content, images (as URLs), meta tags, slug, categories, and tags.
The webhook payload is a JSON object compatible with most CMS APIs. BestSEOArticles includes authentication headers (Bearer token or API key) that you configure during setup. Webhooks support retry logic: if the endpoint returns a non-200 response, BestSEOArticles retries 3 times over 30 minutes.
For developers building custom publishing pipelines, the BestSEOArticles webhook is also available via the Autopilot API — enabling programmatic control over article generation, scheduling, and delivery to any endpoint.
Yes. BestSEOArticles supports multiple connections per account. You can connect a WordPress site, a Ghost site, and a Webflow site simultaneously — each linked to a different project. One project publishes to WordPress, another to Ghost, etc. There is no limit on the number of connections.
BestSEOArticles can set the visibility of Ghost posts: public, members-only, or paid-members-only. You configure the default visibility in the connection settings. Articles can be published behind Ghost's membership paywall, making BestSEOArticles useful for Ghost publications that monetize content through subscriptions.
During Webflow connection setup, BestSEOArticles reads your Collection schema and auto-maps article components to Collection fields. Rich text content maps to the first rich text field. Featured image maps to the first image field. Meta title and description map to plain text fields named "meta title" or "seo title." You can override any mapping manually.
BestSEOArticles supports custom webhook integration for any platform with an API. Configure your webhook URL and authentication headers in BestSEOArticles — the system sends the full article payload as a JSON POST request. This works with Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Drupal, Shopify blogs, and any custom CMS.
Yes. All generated articles are permanently stored in your BestSEOArticles dashboard regardless of publishing destination. If you switch from WordPress to Ghost, all existing articles remain accessible. You can export any article as HTML, Markdown, or rich text and import it to the new platform manually.
