Editorial Policy

Your editorial policy defines the rules and style for all content generated in a project. It ensures consistency across articles and aligns output with your brand voice.

7 Policy Modules

1. Brand Context

Define who you are: brand name, URL, description, values, and competitors. This grounds every article in your brand identity.

2. Target Audience

Describe your typical reader. Set their expertise level (beginner, intermediate, expert) and specify your industry niche. The AI adapts vocabulary and examples accordingly.

3. Voice & Tone

Choose from 7 preset tones (Expert, Professional, Friendly, Inspiring, Analytical, Practical, Custom) and select narrative voice (I, We, You, They).

4. Structure

Configure heading style (questions, statements, how-to, mixed), paragraph length (short 2-3 sentences, medium 4-5, long 6+), and toggle content elements like bullet lists and case studies.

5. Quality Standards

Set citation style (inline, footnotes, none), toggle source requirements, and define E-E-A-T expectations for your content.

6. Restrictions

Add banned words, banned topics, and compliance requirements (GDPR, industry-specific regulations).

7. Custom Variables

Create reusable placeholders like {{company_name}}, {{cta_primary}}, {{phone}} that are automatically inserted into articles.
